With the significant increase in the suv market car companies are trying hard to be the best. In japan subaru has been able to produce the best since 1997 to date.It has proven to be reliable and a capable performer. The 1st generation produced since 1997 to 2002.
it was powered by a 2.0ltr engine tha produced 122hp and 176N/M equipped with the legendary subaru symetrical AWD proved you will be able to tackle the crazy offroad terrain In 2003 Subaru unleashed the sg5 and later the sg9
the sg ersion was in production from 2003-2008 it was powered by subarus EJ20 ,EJ25,EJ253,EJ253 and EJ255. The EJ20 had turbo variant and non-turbo variant that produced between 122-227hp at 5600rpm which was a 2.0ltr engine The EJ253 which 2.5ltr non turbo that produced 137-236lb-ft of torque The EJ255 was a 2.5 ltr turbo charged and the prime was a 2.5ltr EJ25 turbocharged In the 3RD gen it recieved a full redesign that
this generation was in production from 2009-2013 with 2.0ltr petrol option and a not so common 2.0 ltr diesel that produced around 147hp and the petrol one 150hp The 4th gen which i have personally had experience was in production from 2012 to around 2018 which offerd practicality,versatility and offroad capability had an fb20 engine that produced around 145hp and for turbo versions it produced 238hp
