In the japanes domestic market among the oldest exsisting nameplates other than the landcruiser the crown is among th oldest. Well its first generattion made its debut back in 1955 as a luxury sedan powered by a 1.5ltr engine and 3 speed manual transmission it was able to deliver 48 hp and was able to fit six people comfortably Well 69 years later still in the making it has clearly proven the test of time in the previous years. It has tried to retain its luxury heritage and elegance since it is commonly built for the japanese domestic market most of them are sold around the world as exports This is clear indication of the reliability and toyotas spirit of kaizen and continued production. Perfomance wise iam glad to say its a beast on the road. Between the late 90's and early 2000's toyota produced a wagon version which if asked it was a beauty. That generation was powered by the legendary 1JZ engine and some with the 2JZ engines tuners sourcing for this generation all over...
